Why Spotted Bear?

Spotted Bear is named after my son.  Years ago he found a toy Dalmatian (a McDonald's promotional Beanie Baby from 1997 to be precise) - and insisted that it wasn't a dog, but instead was a Spotted Bear.  To this day, his name is Spotted Bear.

I could come up with a story about how when searching for companies you have to look harder because sometimes what seems like a dog is actually a spotted bear...but I'll refrain - it's more simply just an homage to our resident Beanie Baby.

It also has nice potential for logos and swag, and more fun than Certner Capital!
